- Rate: 25.00 27.00 per hour
- Hours: Shifts between 9 am 5 pm Monday Friday
Job Description:
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy hospital in Manchester. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory service. This is a temporary contract with a rate of 25.00 27.00 per hour.
You will be required to process Biochemistry samples using c8000 equipment and perform technical validation of test results. You will need to process samples in a timely manner to meet target test result turnaround times.
Essential Requirements:
- HCPC registered
- UK NHS or private sector Biochemistry laboratory experience
- Biomedical science qualification
- At least 2 years of postregistration experience
- Pathology experience is required
- Experience working with Hive/Beaker
- IBMs portfolio for a Band 6 is required
