Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Technology Officer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to lead and execute highimpact technological strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technological innovation overseeing the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions and positioning the company as a leader in the construction technology space.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Assessment:
- Evaluate the companys existing technical infrastructure and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities where AI/ML can create genuine value developing realistic roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Technical Leadership:
- Define and oversee the system architecture ensuring scalable secure and highperformance integration of AI/ML components.
- Select appropriate AI technologies and frameworks establishing development standards and best practices.
- Ensure responsible AI development practices including model monitoring bias mitigation and continuous learning pipelines.
Team Building and Management:
- Build and manage a highperforming development team including AI engineers data scientists and software developers.
- Mentor existing technical staff and create training programs to upskill teams.
- Manage relationships with AI vendors and consultants.
Risk Management and Governance:
Develop AI governance frameworks to ensure ethical AI deployment.
Address data privacy concerns and monitor regulatory compliance.
Implement security measures to protect AI models and data.
Infrastructure Management:
Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and costeffectiveness.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and proactive monitoring solutions.
- Ensure the infrastructure supports the deployment of AIdriven products and services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a CTO VP of Technology or Head of Engineering in an AI/MLfocused company.
- Strong understanding of B2B technology particularly in the construction supply chain or industrial tech sectors.
- Expertise in AI/ML technologies including deep learning NLP and computer vision.
- Handson experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch and cloud platforms like AWS GCP or Azure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and strategic planning abilities.
- Experience working in a fractional or consulting capacity is a plus.
Contract Type: Fractional/PartTime (Flexible hours based on business needs)
