Job Description
Weekly Pay! 2hr shifts Burlington mornings and evenings $30/hr
Preferred Care at Home is a trusted and compassionate provider of nonmedical inhome care services. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing professional reliable and personalized care.
We are looking for caring dependable and skilled individuals to join our team as InHome Caregivers in the Burlington VT area. If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy making a positive difference in peoples lives we want to hear from you! Immediate assignment available for a client with handson needs in the mornings and evenings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers including the use of assistive devices if needed (Hoyer lift experience preferred).
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry dishwashing and tidying up living spaces.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Monitor and report changes in the clients health behavior or needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Accompany clients to appointments errands or social activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) required.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients families and supervisors.
- Compassionate patient and reliable personality.
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks including lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred (for certain clients).
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

We are looking for caregivers who are compassionate and reliable. LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) HHA (Home Health Aide) are helpful certifications but NOT required.
