The People Services Director is a partner to the executive and leadership team members responsible for defining developing and implementing People Service initiatives.Our Highpoint Health Winchester/Swanee (formally STRHSWinchester and Sewanee) campus locations include a combined 198bed acute and skilled care facilities along with more than 20 employed physician practices and more than 750 employees. The PSD is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all areas of People Services including employee relations compensation management performance management training and leadership development. This is a handson role where the Director oversees a small team and may themselves assist in regularly performing daytoday human resource and department operational tasks. The PSD reports directly to the hospital CEO while receiving direction from Lifepoint Division People Services.Many People Service functions are centralized and administered through Lifepoint Business Services (coming October 2025 which includes recruitment onboarding benefits administration position control performance reviews transitions employee and management service through the Oracle system.
Bachelors degree in business administration human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Masters degree is preferred
Minimum 35 years hospital human resources leadership experience required.
