Demand Planner II Information Technology

How will you make an impact

As a Demand Planner II you will play a key role in managing the challenges of demand variability within our Information Technology sector. Your knowledge will guarantee that we consistently deliver outstanding service to our clients ensuring flawless product availability and efficient inventory levels. By bringing to bear your expertise in data analysis and crossfunctional teamwork you will support our ongoing innovation and competitiveness.

What will you do

  • Support product lifecycle management including portfolio expansion new item setup product conversion and rationalization/discontinuation.
  • Achieve and maintain specified inventory optimization plans driving efficient inventory levels and minimizing excess and obsolete inventory risk.
  • Implement demand sensing techniques and processes to ensure timely adjustments based on the latest business intelligence and actual demand trends.
  • Identify and resolve anomalies or events providing guidance on actions to mitigate or improve.
  • Perform data analysis from various platforms (Logility SQL Power BI etc. to prepare reports and recommendations.
  • Influence departmental metrics including customer fillrate and financial performance.
  • Assess identify mitigate and communicate potential risks to new product launches.
  • Facilitate collaboration with portfolio management purchasing departments key suppliers and the category planning team.
  • Perform daily exception management.
  • Drive continuous improvement through PPI project participation and leadership.

How You Will Get There:

Education/Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Business Management or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in distribution operations inventory management transportation diagnostic and clinical product forecasting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a highly structured and procedural environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proven capability in data analytics and strong presentation skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing planning and distribution replenishment (MRP/DRP).
  • Determined to meet objectives and drive success.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated with a high bias for action.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and development.
  • Ability to travel 510.
