The University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Natural Sciences Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit invites applications for a permanent fulltime 11month) tenuretrack faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor (F4 to begin approximately August 1 2025 or as soon thereafter as possible subject to position clearance and availability of funds.
We are searching for a strategic systems thinker with strong interpersonal skills and significant experience administering basic and applied conservation biology programs to serve in a leadership role with the Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit (PCSU)https://pcsuhawaii. The Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit is a University of Hawaii research unit focusing on basic and applied research on restoration and conservation of natural resources and biodiversity in Hawaii and the Pacific. Collaboration is at the core of PCSUs 50 year history of successfully bringing together a broad range of state and federal agencies nongovernmental organizations private foundations community groups and private landowners to achieve ecosystem level outcomes. With an annual budget in excess of 30 million dollars PCSU administers over 40 projects and employs more than 350 people across Hawaii.
