Job Description
Performs work required in the care maintenance cleaning and housekeeping of all university buildings in accordance with established practices and procedures and responds to emergency calls throughout campus for various general laborer needs. Responsible for performing duties associated with setups and deliveries for special events in and around all of campus. In the absence of the material recycle performs regulars duties of that positioned assigned. Location of work is campus wide for all aspects of this job. Secondary Function: On occasion as required performs the primary duties of other A classification personnel as assigned by management staff. This is a fulltime union position in the SEIU bargaining unit. Work hours are primarily 11:30pm 8am and a combination of weekday and weekend work.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to meet University requirements to be authorized to drive University vehicles as assigned. Ability to work with chemicals. Requires lifting a minimum of 45 lbs High school diploma or equivalent
