Job Description:
We are seeking a skilledElevator Interior Fabricatorto join our team. In this role you will be responsible for fabricating custom wall panels for elevator interiors using a variety of materials including wood metal laminate and specialty finishes. If you have a strong background in carpentry metalwork or custom fabrication and a passion for creating highquality elevator interior panels wed love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom elevator wall panels from various materials including wood metal laminate glass and specialty finishes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of wall panels.
- Measure cut shape and finish panels to precise dimensions and high standards.
- Ensure that fabricated panels meet both aesthetic and functional requirements providing a highquality finished product.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized fabrication workspace.
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery such as saws drills sanders and other equipment required to fabricate elevator panels.
- Perform quality control checks on all fabricated panels to ensure they meet specifications and are free from defects.
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure fabrication deadlines and specifications are met.
- Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication tools and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in custom fabrication particularly with wall panels or interior finishing.
- Skilled in working with a variety of materials such as wood metal laminate and glass.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints technical drawings and detailed specifications.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and tools including saws drills sanders and other machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality precisioncrafted work.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with team members and management.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in fabrication and manufacturing environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in elevator interior fabrication or a similar field.
- Knowledge of advanced finishes or techniques used in elevator wall panel fabrication (e.g. metal polishing laminating).
- Experience with specialty materials such as decorative laminates wood veneers or brushed metal.
