Job Description
Overview
NaphCare is seeking a pharmacist to help conduct quarterlyauditsat our clinic located in BlackHawk County located in Waterloo IA. This job would take an average of 47hours per quarter.
The Pharmacist provides clinical review and appropriate multidisciplinary communication relative to the review of patient information. The individual in this position is also responsible for reviewing and documenting the accuracy of prescription that have been repackaged in the pharmacy. The Pharmacist is accountable for executing quality assurance checks of prescriptions filled by technicians or other pharmacists to ensureand document that prescriptions are filled correctly.
Position Requirements: The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy and must be licensed in the state of Iowawith an active unrestricted license. Must have a working knowledge of concepts of pharmacy computer systems.
Performance Expectations:
- Performs quality assurance check on new orders to ensure correctness.
- Communicateswith providers to ensureclarity accuracy and documentation of new or questionable orders.
- Completeswork activities to meet or exceed customer expectations in a timely manner.
- Advise NaphCare on NCpharmacy regulatory matters
- Serve as NaphCares authorized agent with the IA Board of Pharmacy
