Summary
About usCristbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937 he established the brand in Paris designing its collections there until 1968. Cristbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as the master of us all by Christian Dior and as The Couturier of the Couturiers by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultramodern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brands identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prtporter collections its leather goods footwear and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga readytowear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
Since October 2015 Demna has designed both mens and womens collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House part of the Kering group since 2001 is one of the most influential names in fashion.
Job Description
BALENCIAGA ECommerce Buying Assistant Intern August 2025 (F/M)
Your opportunity
As an ECommerce Buying Assistant Intern you will support the Ecommerce Buying team.
You will have the opportunity to engage with various aspects related to ebuying.
In this operational position you will actively participate in the achievement of the business goals of the team.
How you will contribute
You will be a key member of the team and will actively work on different activities such as :
- Responsible for overseeing the publishable in collaboration with the content and emerchandising teams.
- Assist the buying team in monitoring the global ecommerce business and implementing strategic actions.
- Provide analytical support to the buying team during showrooms by preparing detailed reports and insights.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and continuously monitor their strategies.
Who you are:
- A master student
- Well organized reactive and rigorous
- Proficient in Powerpoint & Excel
- Fluent in English and French
