How youll make an impact:
The Senior Inventory Analyst supports the reporting and analysis on US and Canada Inventory (i.e. both Retail and Wholesale Channels) and is responsible for ensuring high inventory accuracy by analyzing data understanding gaps and developing insights partnering crossfunctionally developing solutions and actions plans and implementing those actions plans. This individual maintains the development creation and automation of inventory reporting. In addition this individual is responsible for mentoring and training Junior Analysts.
Analysis & Reporting 75
RFID Specific
- Partner with the RFID Team Store Operations Asset Protection Allocations eCommerce Supply Chain Merchandising & IT on the analysis and reporting of RFID data.
- Ownership of RFID inventory reporting. Utilizing Tableau to develop and maintain store/UPC level reporting that will serve as the foundation for understanding inventory movements/changes and investigation.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Shrink Analysis using RFID and Omnia data through Tableau reporting. Understand gaps develop corrective action plans and implement them.
- Ownership of storeItem level analysis of RFID data against historical physical inventory count data leveraging RFID inventory data from external databases to drive insights.
- Support the Supply Chain initiative to implement RFID in US Distribution Centers. Understand the overall project and impacts to Retail Channel. Determine synergies to support increased inventory accuracy.
All Inventory
- Responsible for Tableau inventory reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) analytics.
- Lead the reporting of consolidated global inventory including reporting for international business units.
- Support the automation of Wholesale inventory reporting using Tableau including reporting and dashboarding using WM systems Omnia and SAP.
- Orchestrate and develop team SQL queries pulling large data sets for various inventory analysis.
- Responsible for heading team analysis and investigations of all inventory transactions for all stores (including charitable donations damages store to store transfers etc.. Collaborate with the business and field to understand root cause. Responsible for adjusting any transactional errors daily. Implement solutions for root cause errors.
- Prepare analyze and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that add value to overall inventory accuracy providing explanations behind fluctuations and ideas of resolution and mitigating inventory risk where needed.
- Responsible for daily exception reporting within the inventory subledger providing resolution and communication with stores as required.
- Responsible for reporting and analysis of period cycle inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve missing cartons negative onhands and other key inventory metrics and proactively work with Store Operations Asset Protection Allocations IT and Supply Chain to ensure procedures are followed.
- Mentor and train Junior Analysts on the team.
- Responsible for other miscellaneous analysis and reporting.
- Work on special projects as needed.
Cross Functional Partnerships 25
- Crossfunctionally partners with internal teams such as RFID OmniChannel DBA and IT to support Inventory initiatives.
- Support RFID reporting and working with cross functional partners to resolve data discrepancies.
- Research data trends and inventory metrics at the chain store style UPC levels working with Operations Asset Protection Allocations and Supply Chain to develop or improve current processes and procedures within our Retail business while providing recommendations for overall business improvements.
- Communicate results of KPI inventory reporting to our business partners on store level inventory accuracy initiatives high shrink areas trend analysis etc. to crossfunctionally understand store level inventory and help drive high inventory level accuracy.
- Serve as contact for stores for any inventory questions including missing cartons carton discrepancy theft freight charitable donations transfers etc.
- Partner with Store Operations to ensure communications/directions/training instructions are accurate.

Preferred skills and experience:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited 4year institution required preferably in Finance or Information Systems.
- Minimum 2 years in Data Analyst role.
- Experience working in high volume transactional environment a plus.
- Retail experience preferred.
