Job Description

Job Title: Neuro Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 7
Location: London Greater London
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our private client is looking for an experienced and caring Band 7 Neuro Occupational Therapist to join their neurological service based in London. The post is available to start as soon as possible offering fulltime hours for an ongoing period.

What will your responsibilities be

The postholder will work within an outpatient neurological service with patients who have recently being diagnosed with a neurological event.

The appointed Therapist will be part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) delivering high quality specialist occupational therapy for clients by adherence to clinical governance and evidencebased practice. The postholder will provide service in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications. Applying therapists should have previous experience in neuro to be considered for this role.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy
  • Previous NHS experience within an intermediate care setting
  • The ability to build good rapport with patients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
