Job Description
Job Duties:
- Sell hydraulic and industrial hose gasket products and maintain customer accounts
- Take orders via phone and email
- Enter orders and product quotes into the operating system
- Emphasize salable features quotes prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for orders obtained
- Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules and inventory
- Prepare reports of business transactions in company database
- Work with account managers to keep account activities up to date
- Investigate and resolve customer challenges with deliverables
Requirements:
- 3 years related experience and/or training; or Bachelors degree is preferred but not required
- Must be able to successfully function in a fast paced high volume environment utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Word Excel etc.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and industrial hose/ components including pipe valve and fittings is preferred but not required
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This position works in an office / warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
