The Value Stream Manager (VSM) is responsible for supporting a production and depot manufacturing environment at the Raytheon Din Facility (Farmington New Mexico) manufacturing location. The successful candidate will report to a Factory Support Manager and be accountable for the daily readiness and management of up to 20 employees within one shift. The VSM will be tasked to help test associates and production employees. The VSM will ensure the test associates and production employees are trained and working compliantly and safely with all the tools they need to maintain production rates.
The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fastpaced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in both manufacturing and technical leadership roles. Also the candidate will be able to provide valuable floor insight to a crossfunctional (Operations Engineering Test Equipment etc. team.
This position is located at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington NM. RTX Dine Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
What You Will Do
- Direct supervision of Value Stream Leaders (VSL) and responsibility for 20 hourly employees and additional support/technical personnel.
- Utilization of knowledge of manufacturing principles manufacturing support team roles and responsibilities and manufacturing systems in support of initiatives projects improvements and efforts.
- Personnel performance input for all related functions and career development of team members including coaching and mentoring.
- Perform a wide variety of sequencing planning scheduling coordinating failure triage support and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow.
- Compiling labor forecasts and Estimates at Compete (EACs) for the support and touch employees.
- Strategic planning development for short term as well as long range planning
- Define and Execute priorities relating to safety people quality delivery and cost.
- Interact with support engineeringsupply chain and quality with respect to project schedules.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors and a minimum of five 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three 3 years experience.
- Experience with shop floor management or supervisory experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a crossfunctional team environment.
- Previous experience leading a direct team with specific deadlines requirements or deliverables.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial engineering practices
- Knowledge of quality requirements relating to manufacturing environments
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of sequencing for fabrication assembly installation testing and other manufacturing operations in relation to similar type of products or processes

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
