Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Technical Designer to join the development of a new IP.
Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highlyskilled developers to build something innovative exhilarating and expansively entertaining.
As a member of the Technical Design department youll cover creation of variety of systems and you will also be responsible for working on prototype mission supporting gameplay and art team from early conception to final .
Also youll contribute to take the studio and our game from great to even betterwith a focus on inclusivity mutual respect (for ourselves and our players) thoughtfulness empathy integrity and collaboration.
Youll help us by
Partner with the Gameplay Director and Content Director to set the overall vision and direction for gameplay and content designs.
Take ownership of creating technical design rules and principles for the whole game.
Work together with other teams on technical solutions pipelines and tools supporting gameplay and content design implementation.
Take ownership of technical design in a gameplay prototype from ideation to final quality implementation.
Support hires training and mentoring of technical designers.
Analyze pitch prototype and develop technical design features systems and tools for an unannounced AAA project.
Create onepage pitches tools & pipelines briefs system outlines and whatever other communication tools are vital for succinctly and effectively communicating technical design.
Leverage technical expertise to implement systems in proprietary tools.
Collaborate with multiple fields ensuring partners are involved and informed throughout development.
Provide regular active feedback across all of your features and across the game as a whole.
Remain current on industry trends including new game genres new game design techniques and trending audiovisual excellence.
Youre awesome because you have
Proven experience 6 years) shipping AAA titles in lead technical design roles.
Proven experience driving technical design teams and technical pipelines.
Ability to communicate design vision and to align vision within the team.
Experience with versatile game development tools such as Unity Unreal or similar proprietary tools.
Extensive player experience with games.
Extraordinary selfmotivation and initiative and a positive demeanor in the face of challenges.
Bonus points for
Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles
High understanding of complex math
Experienced in developing multiplayer games and understand the functioning of client server architecture.
High understanding of complex performance issues behind game content implementation.

You can learn more by visiting the U.S. the standard base pay range for this role is $80800.00 $149400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this roles range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates new hire compensation is negotiable.
