SummarizedPurpose:

Evidera is seeking a Sr Account Director Business Development with proven business development client management and stakeholder management skills to drive the success of the consulting practice areas.

Evidera provides strategic support to executives at leading Biopharmaceutical Medical Device and Health IT companies.Our work leverages Scientific research dataanalysis and extensive experience tosupport critical commercial and development decisions for pharmaceutical product strategy and opportunity assessment commercial evidence generation strategies competitive strategy and product commercialization for market access.

This position offers a unique entrepreneurial experience for a candidate who has been part of a team with demonstrated success in advising and winning new clients and who understands life sciences as well as associated market and business issues in RWE and Data Analytics. Essential Functions

  • Client Account & Relationship Management
  • Client Account Development to drive new business opportunities across our consulting practice areas
  • Drive Client Account strategy and development through strategic and tactical account planning in partnership with the scientific research delivery teams
  • Work in collaboration with sales operations finance legal and other internal support functions to drive and close business and achieve sales authorization targets

Qualifications

This role requiresconsultative proactivesalesactivities directedat decisionmakersand decisioninfluencersatexistingand new client contacts. Proactively find and qualify opportunities including definingthe solutionsand recommending pricing structures to meet strategic goals.Serveas the primarycontactuntilproject KO then coordinateswiththe relevant businessarea(s)toensure a successful implementation.Actas a liaison between Evidera business units and PPD CRG onall business developmentactivitiesand requirements.

Qualifications:

EducationandExperience:

  • Bachelors degree orequivalentand relevantformalacademic /vocational qualification
  • Previousexperiencethat provides theknowledge skillsandabilities to performthejob (comparableto 5years) orequivalentcombinationofeducation training &experience.
  • Years ofexperience refersto typical years of relatedexperienceneeded to gain the required knowledge skills andabilities necessary to perform theessentialfunctions of the job. Years ofexperience are not to beused as the only determining factorinestablishingthe job class ormakingemployment selection decisions.

KnowledgeSkillsandAbilities:

  • Scientific salesand/ormarketing backgroundwithconcentration inpharmaceutical/biotecharea.
  • Proventrack record of developingmidandhigh level business contacts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in orderto manageandfullyintegratewith OperationsFinanceand Marketingandfollowuptoexpand relationshipsandbusiness opportunities.
  • Demonstratedexperience in identifyingand developing sales leads making professional presentations managing the sales processthrough closeandhandlingallaspects ofcontractnegotiations.
  • Understandingof salesautomation systemsand MicrosoftOffice programs.

Management Role

  • Nocurrentmanagement responsibility but could extend in the future

WorkingConditions and Environment:

  • Work is performed inan officeenvironmentwithexposuretoelectrical officeequipment.
  • Occasional drivestosite locationswith occasionaltravel both domesticandinternational
