Were looking for a Head of Trading who expects more from their career. The Head of Trading is responsible for overseeing the commercial trading strategy of Tesco Media. This role focuses on maximizing revenue through efficient inventory monetization strategic partnerships and optimizing media campaigns. Acting as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners the Head of Trading ensures that the company remains competitive profitable and innovative in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

What youll be working on

Revenue and Trading Strategy:

• Develop and execute the trading strategy to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets.
• Monitor and optimize media inventory utilization across owned operated and thirdparty channels.
• Establish and manage rate cards pricing strategies and performance benchmarks.

Commercial Partnerships:

• Negotiate and manage trading agreements with advertisers agencies and demandside platforms (DSPs).
• Cultivate strong relationships with key commercial partners to drive longterm collaboration and revenue.
• Identify opportunities to expand the retail media offering through new partnerships or channels.

Operational Excellence:

• Lead the trading team in campaign delivery ensuring aligns with client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine trading strategies.
• Oversee inventory forecasting and management to balance supply and demand dynamics effectively.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Build mentor and lead a highperforming trading team.
• Collaborate closely with sales marketing operations and data analytics teams to align on goals and strategies.
• Act as a key advisor to the leadership team on trading performance and opportunities for innovation.

Data and Performance Management:

• Analyze performance data to inform pricing campaign strategy and partner relationships.
• Create and implement KPIs.

What we expect from you

• Proven successful track record of Media / Sales experience either within retail media and/or online advertising.
• Strong commercial acumen highly experienced in negotiation and commercial agreements.
• Strong experience of team leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and own client relationships.
• Excellent communication presentation and collaboration skills.
