Bioinformatician
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Lead bioinformatics program
- Analyze and program predictive modeling using different data types mainly genetics and RNASeq (NGS)
- Develop and utilize algorithms using heterogeneous data including imaging clinical records/realworlddata and genetics
- Use various modeling approaches including supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
- Be part of infrastructure design implementation and maintenance including ETL pipelines over cloud (AWS)
- Write and maintain software for processing big data from public and proprietary clinical trials
- Understand the strategic needs that will arise from different interfaces within the company and offer solutions
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in mathematics computer science bioinformatics or another related field
- Demonstrated experience in medical and/or biomedical data analytics and graphical presentation machine learning and deep learning algorithm development/utilization
- Proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- Prior programming experience with R and/or Python
- Experience in working with public biological and/or biomedical databases methods and tools
- Superb written and oral communication skills in English
