This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Summary:

The Information Security Analyst Senior is responsible for the security of the systems owned and managed by the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) and for the incident response and inspections of vendor systems that provide services with ADORs protected information. This position directly supports the ADOR development team in developing secure software by guiding and helping the development teams to enhance the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process and shiftleft on security thereby rapidly moving our organization towards a true DevSecOps model.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience
Any combination that meets the knowledge skills and abilities (KSA); typical ways KSAs are obtained may include but are not limited to: a relevant degree from an accredited college or university such as Bachelors Degree (e.g. B.A. training coursework and work experience relevant to the assignment.
Minimum of three years experience in information security analysis or equivalent
Previous experience working with CICD AWS AzureDevOps or SDLC (Software Development)

Licenses & Certifications

Knowledge/Understanding
Working knowledge of information security technologies and best practices in the areas of risk assessment compliance and vulnerability management

Skills
Effective verbal written and listening communication skills
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to make measurable progress on multiple tasks assignments and projects simultaneously and work in highpressure situations
Effective interpersonal skills and demeanor
Proficient in the use of a PC in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook Word and Excel PowerPoint; and in the use of Google Suite applications such as Gmail Sheets Docs and Drive.
Proficient with vulnerability management tools such as but not limited to Tenable/Nessus Veracode Rapid7 Qualys or similar.

Abilities
Ability to clear a comprehensive background and clearance process that includes an Arizona tax compliance verification and a criminal background check through the FBI via level one fingerprint clearance through the Arizona Department of Public Safety
Ability to perform general security/audit functions
Ability to develop and write technical documentation
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to work in a confidential manner ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner
Ability to understand and solve problems by applying intermediate analytical skills to include collecting all the relevant information and data needed to address the problem; organizing classifying and synthesizing the data into fundamental issues; from the information identifying the most probable causes of the problem; reducing the information down into manageable components; identifying the logical outcomes from the analyses of the data collected; and identifying the options and solutions for addressing the problems analyzed.

Additional Job Demands
In the course of performing the essential duties one must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.

Selective Preference(s):

Certified Information Systems Auditor
Degree in information technology or related field
Previous experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean

PreEmployment Requirements:
