Position Overview:
Full Steam Staffing is hiring aSeasonal Safety Coordinator! This temporary role is ideal for individuals looking to gain handson experience in workplace safety and OSHA compliance in a fastpaced environment. Youll ensure employee safety conduct training and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess safety conditions and ensure compliance.
- Provide comprehensive safety training to new hires on company policies and procedures.
- Identify and address unsafe actions or conditions to prevent accidents.
- Investigate workplace injuries and prepare accurate incident reports.
- Lead safety meetings and promote a positive safety culture.
- Track and analyze injury data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures as needed.
- Inspect machinery and equipment for potential safety hazards.
- Stay updated on OSHA regulations and safety trends.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections training sessions and safety incidents.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation (required).
- Ability to stand walk and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detailoriented organized and able to multitask in a dynamic setting.
- Willingness to learn OSHA standards and workplace safety practices.
- Experience in safety compliance is a bonus but were happy to train motivated candidates
Compensation and Benefits:
