Kepak Mclntosh Donald are looking for a Hygiene Operative (night shift) to join our team on a fulltime basis working Monday to Friday40hrs/week 6pm 3am (with 2 x 30mins break).
Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring cleaning of all Industrial machinery tools and equipment is carried to the highest standard
- Cleaning of factory floors walls work surfaces and production lines within allocated area
- Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
- Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals in line with training
- Maintain and safely operate tools equipment and chemicals
- Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
- Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards
- Completion of daily cleaning tasks and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
- Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
- Actively participate in all required company training
- Complying with Companys health and safety rules and hygiene requirements
- Carry out any other duties as directed
- Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder
Requirements
- Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred
- Able to work in both chilled and warm environments
- Manual handling ability and awareness must be fit and able
- Meticulous attention to detail essential
- Commitment to good practice
- Fluent English Communicate well in written and oral form with multinationals on all levels
- Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
- Relationship builder with influencing skills
- Strong team player
- Flexible approach to working and committed to night shifts and potential weekend working
