Job Description:
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer/Technologist to join the consulting industry in a challenging and rewarding role in Bloemfontein. As a Civil Design Engineer/Technologist you will be responsible for designing and managing civil engineering projects for various clients in the consulting industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement civil engineering projects according to client requirements and industry standards
- Prepare detailed drawings specifications and technical documentation
- Design municipal water and sewage infrastructure
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Between 5 to 10 years of post qualification experience in civil engineering
- Proven experience with the design of municipal and sewage infrastructure
- Professional registration with ECSA is beneficial
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D IDAS and other design software
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles codes and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
