Job Description
We are looking for aSenior Contracts Manager to support the project from tendering to negotiations and for this growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Review drafting evaluation and negotiating of commercial and general business contracts with Clients Suppliers and SubContractors;
- Direct the Contract Management activities of project team members in the of projects;
- Referrals and rebuttals as required for disputes;
- Audit reports;
- Minutes of meetings as required;
- Expert knowledge and advice
- Perform administrative tasks in contract management and implementation.
- BCom Law or LLB
- 58 years experience in the Commercial Legal environment
- Experienced with contract management and standard (FIDIC NEC JBCC etc./ proprietary contract form
- Expert knowledge of the family of New Engineering Contracts (NEC);
- Extensive knowledge of the early warning and compensation event/ variation procedures;
- Extensive working knowledge of the principles of design and construction projects
