You will manage all local marketing activities with the aim of further strengthening the Zalando brand in the market as well as driving relevant traffic to our local website and app. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate on DACH projects as a member of the DACH marketing team.

You amplify our global brand moments in Austria and plan brief execute and track the local marketing campaigns in collaboration with various crossfunctional stakeholders.
You localise and execute global campaigns across all relevant touchpoints in collaboration with the relevant teams (e.g. central Global Marketing Communication & Creative team Retail PR Digital Media).
You steer our local Creative and Influencer Marketing agencies to ensure the best possible campaign
You define and implement a touchpoint and media strategy in line with the country strategy in close collaboration with the DACH media manager
You manage the marketing budget for the Austrian market including budget planning and cost reporting in alignment with the Team Lead.
You coordinate indepth evaluations of your initiatives and use learnings to proactively optimise future initiatives accordingly. You also use learnings to enable the team and stakeholders.
You act as the guardian of the Zalando brand by ensuring consistency in communication (tone of voice) across the different touchpoints.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
A degree in business administration marketing or a relevant related field
Minimum 35 years of professional experience in brand marketing digital marketing or fashion/ecommerce.
Fluent in German and English
Strong understanding of the various offline and online marketing channels and good knowledge of social media platforms and influencer marketing
Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and focus crossfunctional teams even under pressure
Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
Indepth understanding of the media landscape including digital touchpoints and current social media tools trends and platforms
Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and you are familiar with market research methods.
Experience in managing a diverse group of stakeholders
Proactive and a handson mentality
Knowledge of the Austrian market including local competitive landscape and market trends
Influencer Marketing knowledge is a plus
