Job Description

APRN Physician Assistant PartTime

Job Purpose and Objectives:

Promote wellness and provide treatment as a certified APRN/PA. Perform womens health examinations. Collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of this care. Organize and update protocols in collaboration with the designated medical consultant.

Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the attached job description are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Position Requirements:

Masters level or grandfathered in advanced practice registered nursing scope; prefer womens health practitioner.
Basic HIV testing/counseling training is preferred.
Evidence of fulfillment of continuing education requirements for licensure and certification maintenance.
Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.

Certifications / Licenses:

Current Kansas license to practice as an APRN/PA as defined by K.A.R.through 108 and any added amendments thereafter.
CPR certification.
