Salary 12.45 per Hour Casual hours per week l Casual Community Support Worker Burnley and Pendle Day Service

International Sponsorship this role isnotopento international sponsorship

Grade 3 at Burnley and Pendle Day Service as and when required between the hours of 9:00 am4.30 pm Monday to Friday

We have casual opportunities available at both our day centres at the following locations:

Burnley Day Service Temple St Burnley BB11 3BD

Pendle Day Service Rigby St Nelson BB9 7AA

We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support to come and join our team. Our Day Service requires enthusiastic Community Support Workers to join us in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service.

You will be part as part of a team providing both buildingbased and community support. It is not essential that you have a background in Health and Social Care you just need to have a good heart and a caring nature. We provide all the required training to ensure you get the most from your role with qualifications on offer its a great opportunity to progress in this service and turn it into a career to be proud of!

What we are looking for

Passionwe want to recruit people with a passion to make a difference to the people we supports lives providing much needed support like its second nature your commitment to the people we support will be life changing in the work you do bringing comfort with a warm smile and a cup of tea you will become indispensable supporting people with personal care finances medication and anything else they require in their day to day life you will support people into the community to participate in activities keeping their spirits high maybe a shopping trip or outdoor activities whatever it takes to bring them smiles and happiness you will be changing outlooks and breaking down those barriers that they face on a daily basis.

Empathy & Resilience you will have an understanding of the challenges the people we support deal with which means an empathic nature is of upmost importance you will need bags of motivation and be able to keep going even on the more difficult days the needs of our service users can be complex and you may face challenging behaviour but your determination and dedication to excellent care will make it feel easy it is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with every individual providing reassurance and positivity.
