Job Description

Architectural Professional level II is an intermediatelevel position. We seek a skilled and proactive Architectural Professional II with 35 years of experience to join our team. In this role you will take on greater responsibility in project working closely with project teams to deliver highquality architectural solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the design and delivery process with opportunities to lead portions of projects and mentor junior staff. This position requires a foundational working level of understanding of design and technical aspects of projects analytical and problemsolving skills and a passion for highquality design and collaborative processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design development process from conceptual design to detailed documentation ensuring design intent is maintained.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including engineering construction and consultants to ensure seamless integration of all project elements.
  • Produce and refine the preparation of design project deliverables and construction documents ensuring they accurately and consistently meet project requirements building codes and industry standards.
  • Participate in client meetings presentations and discussions providing clear and effective communication of design concepts and project updates.
  • Research materials building systems and design trends integrating innovative solutions into projects.
  • Review and ensure design and technical documentation accuracy conducting quality checks and resolving design issues as they arise.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior architectural staff fostering a collaborative and learningoriented environment.
  • Advocate for and the integration of sustainable design practices within projects aligning with the firms commitment to environmentally responsible architecture.
  • Assist in managing project timelines budgets and resources ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Perform general office responsibilities (library and material upkeep assist in developing project/BIM standards etc..
  • Participate in crossdisciplined career development.
  • Engage in continuous learning opportunities attend industry events and participate in internal training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adapting to various roles within a project whether in leadership or support while consistently performing at a high level. Proactively handles tasks beyond the primary scope and adjusts to changing priorities to ensure project success team collaboration and firm excellence.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors or masters degree in architecture from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 35 years of professional experience in an architectural firm with a strong design development and technical documentation background.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: Strong design abilities technical knowledge attention to detail practical communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes construction methods materials and sustainable design practices.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts manage project components and mentor junior staff.
  • Collaboration: Proven experience working in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment with a focus on integrated design and delivery.

Salary Range: $70000 $82000. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant.
