Job Description

This position is responsible for achievingroom night and revenue targets from the India market for all assigned hotels (International as well as domestic).100 retention of all assigned key accounts Driving deeper penetration into existing clients and structured acquisition of targeted accounts.


Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
  • Work with the management and the clients(hotels) to develop a business plan to achieve goals.
  • Develop a Key Account Management plan for each Key Account assigned (Key accounts include corporate clients and travel partners
  • Focused calls per plan agreed with management.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Sales Reports and MIS as required.
  • Conduct Client Business Reviews for assigned Key accounts per agreed periodicity with the client. Business reviews to be in the form of meetings with minutes and a formal presentation of data/ key benefits and outcomes. Track business against projections to ensure the client exceeds fair market share.
  • Develop and implement an effective PR strategy to anchor each existing customer.
  • Effectively partner Hotel operations teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Introduce new service / product upgrades to Key clients through show and tell and appropriate entertainment to get them to experience the hotels/ hotel companys products and services.
  • Drive/ support effective implementation of Marketing plans and promotions.
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage and knowledge of assigned territory. Independently represent the client in Delhi Bombay and Bangalore.
  • Develop and proactively update a Prospect list for business development
  • Ensure continuous focus on acquisition by developing and acting on a sales Pipeline
  • To keep abreast of market factors and competitor activity . Continuously benchmark company products and services against competitors to ensure the company remains best in class.
  • Assist the hotel teams during India Sales Missions/ Sales Blitz.

Area of Operation :
New Delhi (with travel to key cities within India and overseas as required).

Key linkages/ coordinates with :
  • Hotel Operations staff for customer service)
  • DOSM and Sales teams at each hotel
  • Regional/ Corporate Sales & Marketing Office/ Staff where appropriate.
Desired Skill Set/ Attributes:
  • Minimum 23years Sales experience with a luxury hotel group in India.
  • Graduate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English clear transparent articulate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Very strong customer orientation
  • High results orientation takes accountability for own results.
  • High integrityHigh energy with positive attitude.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
