You have 6 years of software development experience under your belt and are looking for your next challenge in a hypergrowth fastpaced industry disrupting SaaS company. What youll do:
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of robust scalable serverside components within our platform.
- Collaborate closely with our AI/ML team to integrate advanced algorithms into backend systems ensuring seamless data processing and delivery.
- Design implement and test APIs and data pipelines to support complex strategies and analytics.
- Continuously improve and refine the backend architecture ensuring performance scalability and maintainability.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to optimize for reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers sharing your expertise in backend development and financial technology.
- Contribute to the technical vision of our platform driving innovation and excellence in backend solutions.
- Participate in code reviews ensuring adherence to best practices and the highest quality standards.
What you have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- 6 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on backend technologies
- Proven experience with Django
- Proficiency in Python
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of API design development and integration including REST and GraphQL
- Experience with database design and management including relational (PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB DynamoDB) systems
- Experience working in SaaS environments particularly within the financial technology sector
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
