What You Will Do

Job Description: An experienced systems engineer is needed for the continued development and integration of hardware belonging to the Military Engines Fuel and Actuation Control Subsystem. The position is responsible for ensuring Fuel and Actuation hardware meets the engines functional needs and integrates seamlessly with the engines electronic controls and software from the initial subsystem concept through Production and Field Sustainment.

Qualifications You Must Have

• BS Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 8 years of engineering or aerospace experience or 5 years with an advance degree
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced degree
• Experience in one or more of the following Project Design Test Systems Field & Production Support
• Experience with fluid control hardware including Pumps Valves Hydraulic Actuators ElectroHydraulic Servo valves Solenoids and sensors Strong communication interpersonal time management and organizational skills
• Experience with electronic closed loop control systems and hydromechanical control components
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) work environment
• Experience working with suppliers

Controls & Diagnostics Systems (CDS)

CDS develops complex cyberresilient control systems and software for commercial and military engines including power and thermal management Systems and auxiliary power units. CDS also develops advanced diagnostic & health management systems to monitor our products forecast events and help facilitate MRO operations. With growing emphasis on sustainability CDS is on the forefront of system development for hybrid and electric propulsion.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
