Intern Finance
Location: Terrapin Beer Company (Athens GA)
Fulltime. Paid internship $20.00/hr
Duration: June 9 2025 August 15 2025
Shifts: Monday Friday days

Terrapin Beer Company founded in 2002 in Athens Georgia is known for its innovative and flavorful craft beers. The brewery was named after the Grateful Dead album Terrapin Station and has grown to be a beloved staple in the community.
Who we seek:
Looking for an intern for our Finance team reporting to the Controller. As a summer intern in Finance you will work closely with all budget owners to help with forecasting spend control and financial reporting and analysis for our Beverage business. The ideal candidate is willing to learn rollup their sleeves and works well with others. The Finance team is expected to help team leaders manage their respective budgets build efficient and effective processes and is an insightful analyst at improving business operations and results.
Please note the main location will be Athens GA with occasional visits to the Sweetwater Brewery in Atlanta GA.
What youll do:
- Improve annual budgeting process quarterly forecasting and longrange planning
- Support all functional teams in managing their financial results
- Monitor and report spending trends providing variance analysis and insightful commentary
- Develop implement and improve operational metrics and analyses of key financial metrics
- Continuous review of reporting and process with dedication to ensure reporting is both relevant and produced efficiently
- Development of insightful financial and operational dashboards
What youll bring:
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of college credit with a focus in finance accounting management or general business
- Proficiency in financial software applications & tools; specifically Excel/Intaact SAP. NetSuite & Salesforce knowledge a plus
- Basic/Working knowledge of Financial Statements and accounting impacts of transactions
- A selfstarter who takes initiative and works independently to deliver results in a highpressure environment
- Demonstrated ability to rollup sleeves and work with team members in a hands on capacity on a variety of projects
- Must be 21 on or before June 9 2025
