Mathematics Teacher Role & Responsibilities
Plan prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics Teacher lessons to GCSE students.
Support students in reaching their full potential in Mathematics through wellstructured teaching and assessment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths department to develop innovative teaching strategies.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment to encourage student progress.
Take on additional responsibilities as opportunities for career progression arise.
Mathematics Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) obtained via PGCE or Teacher Training route.
Bachelors degree in Mathematics from a top UK university.
Strong academic background including high grades in ALevel Maths.
Confident in preparing and delivering Maths lessons for GCSElevel students.
A passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire young learners.
