Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Make Up Trainer to join our team at Solitaire Global Schools in Hyderabad. This fulltime position requires 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in makeup training focusing on airbrush makeup application product knowledge and skincare basics. The role involves developing and delivering comprehensive makeup education to students as part of our curriculum.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of minimum 7 years in makeup artistry with expertise in teaching makeup techniques effectively in an educational setting.
- Indepth knowledge of airbrush makeup application to provide professional instruction on its utilization (Mandatory skill).
- Comprehensive understanding of various makeup products and their applications including the latest industry trends (Mandatory skill).
- Basic knowledge and practical applications of skincare regimes and processes (Mandatory skill).
- Indepth understanding of color theory including color matching and selection for different skin tones and environments.
- Proficient in contouring techniques to train students in enhancing facial features through makeup applications.
- Skill in hairstyling to complement makeup training with a focus on different styles and techniques suitable for various occasions.
- Ability to create engaging digital content that reflects on makeup artistry techniques and draws interest in educational modules.
- Expert in client consultation methods for teaching students interpersonal and customer interaction skills within the makeup industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver educational programs that teach advanced makeup techniques to students in engaging and innovative ways.
- Evaluate and assess students progress through examinations workshops and practical sessions to ensure a high level of competence.
- Stay updated with the latest makeup trends and incorporate them into courses to keep the curriculum relevant and current.
- Collaborate with other faculty members in organizing special workshops and masterclasses that enhance students learning experiences.
- Advise and mentor students on professional makeup careers and assist with their practical career placements.
- Coordinate with school administration to maintain a wellstocked inventory of makeup products and necessary tools for teaching purposes.
- Foster an environment of creativity engagement and professional development tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Develop partnerships with industry professionals to integrate realworld experiences into the academic setting and provide networking opportunities.
