Integra Life Sciences is looking for a Director supporting the Office of the CIO with a proven track record of driving the organizations metrics through effective operations management. This role would work daily with the leadership team on high priority objectives and support the internal departmental communications across the organization.

This role will be responsible for tracking and trending the goals and objectives ensuring expectations for delivering value of signature programs are on scope on schedule and on budget.

This role is a critical enabler for fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT team providing guidance and best practices related to Project and Portfolio Management. This role evaluates major issues and develops remediations to projects processes and systems to meet planned outcomes.

By working with various business and IT leaders across the organization this role will refine our business cases to ensure key outcomes risks and value drivers are well understood and documented prior to project initiation and handed off to the Portfolio and Finance Teams to ensure value is tracked and capture over the course of implementation.

The ideal candidate for this role exhibits strong business acumen communication skills understanding of corporate finance and how to write business cases for IT projects.

Additionally this role will work crossfunctionally and externally with vendors to bring together the needed stakeholder perspectives in support of progressing digital vision mission and strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Portfolio and Program Management Lead and manage IT projects from conception to completion ensuring timely delivery and within budget. Coordinate crossfunctional teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables. Implement project management best practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Communications Management Organizational communication strategy/ and monthly oversight of IT metrics reporting. Maintenance of IT website content.

Performance management Define maintain and report on the metrics that will be followed to track the progress of IT achievements against objectives and initiate corrective actions if achievement against objectives is at risk. Works across IT teams to drive alignment on incidents constraints and dependencies factoring in organizational capacity stated goals and priorities.

Office of the CIO activities budget management including accrual tracking strategic supplier management workforce engagement and retention.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required for his position.

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in a Technical or Business field Masters Degree Desirable
  • Preferred Certifications: Process Excellence / Six Sigma / Lean / Organizational Change Management / PMP / ITIL / Business Analyst Training
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 15 years experience in the Life Sciences Pharma MedTech or Biotech industries
    • Minimum 10 years experience leading highly matrixed and virtual teams.
    • Minimum 5 years experience working with IT leadership in strategy and decision making roles
    • Extensive experience continuously improving business processes (e.g. Lean process excellence value stream mapping)
    • Preferred: Management Consulting experience; executive presentation skills

Additional details:

This role is hybrid between Princeton NJ and remote. Office days are Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
