Job Description

Southwestern Healthcare is currently seeking a FullTimeElectronic Health Record Analystto add to our team of professionals. This position is responsible forworking directly with vendors leadership team members and frontline staff regarding various projects performance improvement opportunities and development updates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) and other applications. This position is located onsite in Evansville IN.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Analyze and understand the business needs of all corporations.
  • Lead and/or participate on project teams during research implementation and upgrades of Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems.
  • Consult with managers and end users to continuously improve systems and increase operating efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain system manuals and training materials.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of data to DARMHA by providing DARMHArelated training and working with the vendor to ensure all data requirements are met.
  • Creating modifying and deleting database schemas tables and data using Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Provide enduser support.

Job Qualifications

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in health administration business health information management or related field required. Experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • 3 or more years working with EHR/EMR programs preferred.
  • Experience with Business Analytic Tools (i.e. Power BI) preferred.
  • Should have a good working knowledge of word processing and computerized spreadsheet applications.
  • Must have good communication and organizational skills.
