Job Description
The Orange County CA office of a fullservice AmLaw 100 firm is actively seeking an experienced attorney to join its Construction Litigation Practice. The ideal candidate will have 210 years of experience in insurance defense litigation including case management motion practice discovery hearings depositions arbitrations and trials. Strong research and writing skills are required and admission to the California Bar is a must.
The firms Construction Litigation Practice consisting of nearly 80 attorneys nationwide has successfully represented defendants in significant exposure cases across a range of construction law areas. The team excels in handling catastrophic injury wrongful death and complex litigation cases often achieving recognition such as being cited by the National Law Journal for Top Ten Defense Verdicts of the Year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management including overseeing discovery and pretrial motions.
- Represent clients in hearings depositions arbitrations and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases while ensuring timely case progression.
Qualifications:
- 210 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Experience in construction litigation is preferred but not required.
- Must be admitted to the California Bar.
