Job Description
The Engineering Analyst Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) creates all required analysis in support of the Logistic Support Analysis function. This individual is responsible to provide the ILSProject Manager with products related to the development of Logistic Support Analysis.The Engineering Analyst performs the functions by partaking and guiding the design process of the products relevant to maintainability reliability testability and optimize life cycle costs through the definition of required resources to support the product during inservice operation.
Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement. This is a 12 Month Limited term employment with eligible benefits and 3 weeks vacation.
What youll do
- Perform Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) analyses including but not limited to FMEA reliability analysis LORA maintenance task analysis sparing analysis life cycle cost analysis etc.
- Collaborate with and support design engineering with the results of the RAM analysis.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to make sure suppliers meet the required ILS requirements.
- Validate suppliers data for adequacy and accuracy.
- Use engineering judgement to draw conclusion and make decision.
- Apply relevant regulations industry and discipline standards.
- Write technical reports.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
What youll bring
- An Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Background in marine systems and equipment is desirable.
- Prior experience in ILS or Systems Engineering.
- Intellectual curiosity seeking opportunities to develop new skills.
- Strong analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative.

- Proficient knowledge of MS Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with industry standards for analysis such as FMEA etc.

The estimated salary for this position is $77500 $93000. In determining final salary Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidates skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Companys sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
