Responsibilities Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings perform legal research and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts pleadings briefs affidavits motions and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings Communicate with partners associates paralegals and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys paralegals and staff
Qualifications Effective communication skills and problemsolving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) Successful completion of the bar exam Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
