Civil Project Manager

Galloway & Company Inc. is looking for a Civil Project Manager to join our Pleasant Grove Utah (UT) office in 2025! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews project proposals qualification statements promotional materials and professional services agreements; is responsible for the preparation obtaining internal and external approvals and managing final and subsequent amendments.
• Plans develops coordinates and directs the team during the of projects.
• Takes an active role in coaching mentoring and delegating responsibility to lesssenior level staff; provides daily onthejob training for team members.
• Serves as primary contact with clients; fosters a culture of effective internal and external communication between clients and team members.
• Develops and implements project schedules and resource management that facilitates timely performance.
• Manages project budget; communicates budget allocation to staff for their respective assignments.

Education

• Bachelor of Engineering from a fouryear boardapproved engineering curriculum.
• Active PE required.

Experience

• Typically a minimum of 10 or more years of experience in Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrates effective leadership skills in mentoring training coaching and developing team members

• Understands principles practices codes and standards of civil engineering.
• Possesses advanced knowledge of the approval and permitting process for projects.
• Demonstrates advanced technical writing skills.
• Demonstrates effective communication financial management and leadership skills to manage schedules and budgets.
• Communicates in a timely and effective manner within the team and with clients various agencies and other disciplines and managers.
• Serves as the main point of contact with the client; receives and conveys client goals and objectives to team members.
• Demonstrates effective leadership skills in directing and completing multiple projects with multiple clients.
• Act in a lead position providing technical direction over a group of civil designers and functioning as a technical specialist and consultant for our internal staff.
• Lead new business development promote repeat and referral business with existing clients and participate in networking events and business development meetings.

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $105000$125000.
