SUMMARY
Housing for Health (HFH) is a program office within Community Programs a division under Los Angeles County Health Services (DHS). HFH was created in support of the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative recommendations in response to and in support of the Countys effort to address and combat homelessness in the communities residing within the boundaries of the Countys eight Service Planning Areas (SPAs).
This position will be providing analytical support to HFH various teams with the focus on Countywide Benefits Entitlement Services Team (CBEST). CBEST provides benefit advocacy services to people with disabilities experiencing homelessness or who are high risk of becoming homeless (e.g. lowincome seniors veterans people exiting the justice system) who have complex health and/or behavior health conditions high utilizers of public services in obtaining sustainable income through government programs such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI) and/or Veteran Disability benefits as they assist the clients who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to obtain social security benefits. CBEST services are provided across DHS street medicine interim housing permanent housing enriched residential care and more.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate has experience working with a clientcentric relational database and in Microsoft Access. They are comfortable with using various tools to analyze large datasets and have taken the lead on projects where the best path forward is unclear.
Education/Experience
Three or more years of highly complex administrative experience in the health housing social services or related sectors.
