Job Description
Grinding Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled Grinding Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications proficiency in operating various grinding machines and a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and precision of finished products.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the required grinding process
- Operate a variety of grinding machines including surface grinders cylindrical grinders and tool grinders
- Prepare and set up materials on the grinding machine ensuring proper alignment and security
- Utilize grinding wheels to shape smooth and finish materials to precise specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications making necessary adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines and replace worn or damaged components
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in operating various grinding machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Good manual dexterity and handeye coordination
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Physical stamina for handling heavy materials and working in various conditions
