We are thrilled to announce amajor contract win with Yorkshire Water supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!
We are currently recruiting forFrame and Cover HGV Driver to join our team delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.
Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions

About the Role
As a Frame and Cover HGV Driver you will:
Maintain great customer service and communication
Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work.
Carry out site specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team member and site supervisor
Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensuring on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits
Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisors attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment.
Safely operate HGV vehicles ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Replace manhole frames and covers efficiently.
Excavate by hand (not solely reliant on machinery).
Replace gullies with precision and care.
Complete all types of reinstatements (paving tarmac concrete etc..
Ensuring highway compliance with reinstatement to avoid defects
Be able to read and understand Drainage plans.
Maintain accurate records of works completed including materials used and time spent on each task.
Recording photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed
Experience and Qualifications: (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)
Full UK driving license Class 2 license CPCS Lorry Loader (Required)
Up to date driver CPC and Digi Tacho
NPORS
Banksma
Manual Handlin
Emergency First Aid
NRSWA
EUSR National Water Hygiene
Asbestos Awareness
Slinger and Signaller
Abrasive Wheels
Calm Water
EUSR Safe Dig Cat & Genny
EUSR Water SHEA
Face Fit Tested FFP3
Dumper Wheeled Forward Tipping
EUSR Shuttering & Shoring Deep Excavatio

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
