Job Description

As a Product Owner at IMO Health you will play a critical role in managing the Terminology Server platform ensuring seamless integration and optimization of clinical code systems and medical terminology. You will work closely with crossfunctional teamsincluding engineering content specialists and solution architectsto manage backlogs and deliver user stories that drive innovation.

This role requires handson experience with clinical coding systems (e.g. SNOMED LOINC ICD) familiarity with medical terminology and a deep understanding of how healthcare organizations use terminology services. Ideally you have prior experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic NextGen or Oracle Health/Cernereither as an implementation specialist analyst or similar roleand have collaborated with engineering teams. We are looking for a fast learner who thrives in an agile environment and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical .

WHAT YOULL DO:

    • Own and manage the product backlog ensuring alignment with the broader product strategy and roadmap specifically focusing on the Terminology Server platform.
    • Translate business needs into welldefined product requirements epics and user stories ensuring acceptance criteria are clearly defined.
    • Prioritize features and functionality based on business value user needs and technical feasibility.
    • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver new features resolve defects and ensure highquality product releases tailored for terminology services.
    • Troubleshoot escalated product issues and assist technical service teams in identifying solutions focusing on API performance and terminology management.
    • Stay updated on Agile/Scrum/SAFe best practices and incorporate them into daily workflows.
    • Provide training and product updates to internal teams and support customer training when necessary.
    • Stay informed about industry trends particularly in healthcare interoperability medical terminology and AIdriven healthcare solutions.

WHAT YOULL NEED:

    • Bachelors or advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering Bioinformatics Computer Science Healthcare Management or a related field.
    • 3 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare technology setting.
    • Strong understanding of medical terminologies and clinical code systems (e.g. SNOMED CPT LOINC ICD RxNorm).
    • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) (Epic NextGen Oracle Health/Cerner) in an implementation product or analyst role.
    • Familiarity with API implementations and how terminology content is built and maintained within APIs.
    • Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.
    • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think strategically about enhancing terminology services while supporting current customer needs.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across crossfunctional teams.
    • A fast learner with a proactive doer mentality.
    • A passion for solving complex problems and driving innovation in the healthcare space.
$91000 $123000 a year
Compensation at IMO Health is determined by job level role requirements and each candidates experience skills and location. The listed base pay represents the target for new hires with individual compensation varying accordingly. These figures exclude potential bonuses equity or sales incentives which may also be part of the total compensation package. Our recruiter will provide additional details during the hiring process.
