Job Summary:
Emerson Automation Solutions Marine Solutions Measurement and Analytical range includes Radar Tank Gauging System Valve Remote Control System Micromotion Coriolis Flow Pressure and Temperature measurements for safe ship operation. Our portfolio enables our customers to take action before changes affect equipment performance and cause downtime. As a Service Engineer you will be the face of Emerson in front of our key customers within the Marine and Offshore industry.
Based in our Mumbai campus but responsible for the Indian subcontinent region we have a new vacancy in our highly successful Marine Solutions Service team part of the wider Measurement Solutions.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Ensuring you are fully prepared for the service call prior to attending the client site including ensuring spares are available
- Perform onboard service and onsite commissioning within the region and worldwide.
- Participate in the testing calibration and verification of system setup of Emerson products and supplies of Marine systems.
- Understanding the customer requirement fully in order to provide an efficient and optimum solution
- Ensuring service reports are completed and signed in all respects prior to submission
- Provide comprehensive remote support to customers to ensure their continuing loyalty
- Setting up installing configuring and maintaining simulation/demo tools or systems in the workshop/office as required
- Carrying out On the Job Training when possible for the rest of the team to share knowledge and experience
- Maintaining the condition and certification of tools
- Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emersons Company Policy and Procedures
- Be prepared to travel up to 80 of your time across the Middle East & Africa and India region

For This Role You Will Need:
- Minimum5 years of experience preferably on Marine automation electrical and Hydraulic systems.
- Abilitytoleadchangeandalignment on newconcepts andapproachesthrough persistence selfmotivation followthrough and commitment.
- Great teammate who buildsandmaintains positiveteam memberrelations.
- Able tomanageandschedulemultipleprioritiesandmeetdeadlines.
- Good technical and communications skills.
- You are ready and willing to travel up to 80 of your time across the Indian subcontinent and internationally. Occasionally you may need to travel during evenings and weekends depending on business needs
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in electrical/Electronic Marine or Instrumentation.
- Knowledge onLean TechniquesISO9002 Quality System and Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
- Able totravelbetween factories in Singapore if needed.
