The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.
As a Maintenance Technician you are at the heart of the hotel operations working with the Maintenance Manager you will develop strong working relationships with the hotel operations teams in order to maintain high standards by completing tasks effectively and within allocated timescales. With a strong guest orientation and care you will take ownership of ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and the companys policies and procedures.
As the Maintenance Technician key to your role will be:
Excellent time management
Strong guest focus
Excellent communication skills within your team and across other departments
Being proactive in your approach to all tasks as delegated by the Maintenance Manager
Being highly adaptable to a fastpaced environment
Strong analytical mindset to identify the root causes of problems and develop effective solutions
Being able to carry out tasks both independently and as part of a team
General knowledge of fields such us electrical mechanical and plumbing Health and Safety would be desirable
A warm peopleoriented demeanour

A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
Experience in a similar role
A plumbing or electrical qualification is an advantage but not compulsory
The salary for the Maintenance Technician is 28187.50 per annum. With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days including weekends on shift and working on an oncall rota.
