We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Principal Scientist Discovery Sciences at our Contract Research Organization in HyderabadwhohashandsonexperienceinleadingateamofScientistsdesigningsyntheticroutesbyusingthereferencingtoolsmonitoringlaboratoryactivitiesstructureactivityrelationshipstudyoftheanaloguecompoundsandalsohasexperiencein
syntheticchemistryinprovidingservicesinthedevelopmentofsmallmoleculesynthesisofNCEs.
KeyResponsibilities:
ManagingaTeamof20ChemistsfocusingonbothFTEandFFSprojectsandisaccountable
forthesuccessoftheseprojects.
Guidetheteamindesigningsynthesisschemes(mgtokgscale)andtrouble
shooting
Designnumberofstepsreactionsqualityquantity&timelinesmaintainingdesired
manpower/FTEratiosandachievemaximumproductivitywithminimumresources.
WillberesponsibleforQuantityTimelinesandProfitabilityofeachproject.
HandsonexperienceinpreparationofProjectEstimatesforPOprojects
Responsibleforoptimalutilizationofresourcesinthespecificprojectteamandimprove
productivity.
ResolvesyntheticchallengeswithintheTAT.
ManageCustomerRelationshipthroughweeklyprojectupdatesandmeetings.
Excellentknowledgeincharacterizationofcompoundsbydifferentanalyticaltechniques.
EssentialRequirements:
PhD/PostDoctoralwithaspecializationinOrganicChemistry/MedicinalChemistrywith10
yearsofrelevantindustryexperiencefromaDrugDiscoveryOrganisation(CRO)
Requirements
Requirements:
- PhD/PostDoctoral with a specialization in Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry.
- 10 years of relevant industry experience from a Drug Discovery Organization (CRO).
