This is a careerservice position with clinical responsibilities. This position reports to and works under the supervision of the Medical Officer of the Tuberculosis Control Program (TBCP). The focuses of this position are to 1 provide direct patient care 2 oversee medical management of the TBCP clients and 3 provide medical consultation for healthcare professionals outside the TBCP in the community.

This position is required to work at the TB clinic in person at least three days a week and a total of 24 hours each week. The position is required to work outside of business hours to meet operational needs. May also be required to work evenings nights weekends and holidays when assigned or as needed. This position is not subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not overtime eligible.
Work Location
The primary work location for this position is located at the TB Clinic which is located at Harborview Medical Center in Downtown Seattle 325 9th Ave Seattle Washington (East Wing of Harborview Medical Center ground floor). This position is also a member of the WTCN (Washington TB Collaborative Network) team and may be dispatched to other Counties across the state with short noticeto provide TB support services.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
Participate in weekly case reviews and TB ECHO.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following (Minimum):
Minimum two 2 years postresidency experience in infectious diseases pulmonary medicine or public health.
Washington State Drivers License and the ability to travel to work.
Familiarity with CDC/WHO TB guidelines.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to equity and social justice.
Experience with electronic health records system preferably EPIC.
The most competitive applicants will have the following experiences and qualifications (Desired):
At least two 2 years managing active and latent TB patients.
Bilingual and/or Bicultural.
