Job Description

The Discretionary Middle Office Analyst is supporting the Man Discretionary business across private credit products. This role will support Portfolio and Asset Management activities and will be responsible for NAV oversight cash management for loan closings loan administration & liaising with the Front Office. Possessing excellent communication and administrative skills the Analyst will be responsible for a significant portion of the daytoday operations support and managing relationships with our Operations counterparts at our clients & external counterparties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the direction and administration of operations and processes for funds that invest in private credit investments.
  • Track deal terms and covenants for existing and prospective credit investments.
  • Review of loan agency reports to ensure full principal amount is returned and that loan tracking system is updated to reflect paid off loans & outstanding interest.
  • Monitor compliance of lending counterparties with all facility covenants and requirements.
  • Verifying document inventory for newly acquired loans to ensure all terms and conditions are accurately captured by the loan admin.
  • Check and process all cash management and payment processing activities including loan closings drawdowns paydowns & interest payments.
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of the pricing governance and controls are maintained through identification and mitigation of pricing risks and the communication/documentation of any enhancements to the framework.
  • Ensure relevant information is incorporated in the valuation of the private credit investments and that valuations are reflective of fair value.
  • Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) of funds on a daily weekly and monthly basis including checking accrued income and expenses. Provision of intraNAV estimates to the Asset Managers/Clients when requested.
  • Liaise with the fund administrator/s to reconcile final fund NAVs.
  • Oversight of changes to incentive/performance fees management fees and any other fee structures in scope
  • Responsible for the account setup and daily reconciliation of transactions ensuring accuracy of the entries generated.
  • Responsible for service provider relationships including but not limited to fund administration loan administration banking auditors valuation agents etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and monthly investor reports.
  • Actively monitor risk by identifying trends and potential issues with operational controls to improve the control environment and drive efficiencies.
  • Taking a proactive and innovative approach to enhancing processes and maintaining internal policies and procedures manuals.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 03 years experience in accounting or audit ideally with relevant private credit experience e.g. Real Estate Debt Broadly Syndicated Loans (BSL) Middle Market Loans & Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) etc
  • Excellent Microsoft skills (power point excel and word)
  • Strong communication skills strong business knowledge and ability to multitask
  • Good understanding of private credit investments
  • A team player who is also comfortable to take individual ownership
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple senior stakeholders

Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $100000$110000 benefits a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills qualifications and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
