Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Therapy Services you will be responsible for assessing and treating swallowing and communication disordersin the adult population for inpatients and/or outpatients. Working as a member of the Speech Language Pathology Team in our dynamic interdisciplinary team setting you will oversee the assessment and management of communication disorders and dysphagia in the outpatient acute neuro program.You will assess and manageswallowing and communication disorders for acute and rehab patients. You will interpret assessments in order to plan organize and implement treatment programs. You will participate in managing caseload and scheduling patient and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
This position will serve mostly acute inpatient clients with a focus on swallowing.
