Posting Summary
The Department of Physics School of Arts and SciencesNewark Rutgers UniversityNewark (RUN) is seeking parttime instructors for Summer 2024 to teach physics surveys recitations laboratories or upperlevel courses focused on specific themes or topics. The successful candidate will cover the full range of duties associated with teaching including but not limited to preparing course material; creating and posting a course syllabus; presenting material during the assigned course times; holding office hours and providing appropriate outofclass time for students; responding to student emails; conducting and grading assessments of students through assignments exams and other means in a timely manner; and submitting final grades. Course appointments may require instruction during the day in the evenings on weekends offcampus online hybrid remotely or any combination of these.
